Rub for Your Butt Trim up your pork butt (shoulder) and pat it dry. Rub completely with your favorite binder. Put a generous coat of rub on both sides and pat it in. Sometimes, we add some of our Cajun Seasoning and/or Sweet Honey Seasoning. It adds a little kick!
